We are absolutely blessed here at Tonic Day Spa to have clients of all ages, male and female.  We like to think that once inside our day spa, you can switch off from the outside world, relax and enjoy your treatment – whether it’s the nail bar banter or a longer, more in-depth experience with a member of the team in one of our many treatment rooms.

Whilst we try to accommodate all of our clients’ needs, from time to time we feel it necessary to remind you that we are a working salon, offering many treatments to all types of clients.  Unfortunately, due to recent feedback from users of Tonic Day Spa, we feel it’s timely to amend our policy on children and pets.

With immediate effect, we respectfully request that no pets be brought into the salon.  We all love our animals but some of our staff and clients suffer with allergies or are fearful of animals. We need to maintain a safe environment for all, so no more pets please.

With regards to children, we ask that children under school age do not attend the salon. On many occasions when you visit us, it may seem quiet, but the majority of our team are delivering relaxing treatments to their clients.  We understand that you are unable to guarantee that a young child or baby may sleep or be quiet, but we must consider all our clients in the salon at that time.

We also have to consider space within the salon as well as the length of time a baby or infant will be with us whilst the parent has their treatment.

If you need to bring a baby or young child with you due to unforeseen circumstances, we ask that you contact us prior to attending your appointment so that if able, arrangements can be made – perhaps discuss off-peak times when you book your appointment. However, as a rule, we respectfully request that you please leave babies and pre-school children at home when visiting us.
